Toyota Fortuner
The Toyota Fortuner is a HiLux-based seven-seat wagon with impressive off-road nous. Much like the HiLux, the Fortuner has essentially been around in its current guise since 2015, but it has received significant updates during that time. The current line-up consists of three variants – GX, GXL and Crusade – and all are powered by a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 150kW and 500Nm and paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity is limited to 3100kg, which is lower than its closest competitors.
